►WINE BOTTLE: Upcycled glass to create a unique wine bottle art candle holder design. The bottle is cut on an angle called the TRANQUIL CUT midway between the neck and body. Wet belt sander is used to remove outer sharp glass edges. Diamond smoothing cone is used on the inside lips of open ended glass vessels. Flame polished finished on all glass cut areas. *Note that upcycled wine bottle may have slight irregularities and imperfections within the origin of the glass. Oil lamp not included with purchase. Height: 6” Width: 3-1/2” ►LIVE EDGE WOOD: The natural edges, wavy grain lines, quilting, unique colors, knots and bark inclusions are the characteristics that define live edge wood. Each wood slab has specific feature and will vary from log to log milled. The pictures shown on this page is evident of the varying difference in grain patterns and characteristics of the wood. This is what makes live edge wood so distinctive and special. ►MATERIAL: Arizona grown desert hardwood MESQUITE is uniquely hand-crafted and custom designed from weathered-down trees found in the suburban metropolitan Phoenix area. By acquiring these logs, it allows me to create 100% sustainable, repurposed live edge wood designs. Both sides of the slab goes to a router sled table to obtain desired flat surface and thickness. As the wood slab ages, noticeable cracks on the wood may appear due to its natural dry cracking process and changes in humidity and temperature. Any voids or cracks from the wood are sealed with epoxy to maintain integrity of the wood. Height: 1-¼-1-½” varies Width: 6-8” varies ►OIL FINISH: Hand rubbed clear satin gel polyurethane finished.
